Lighthouse General Insurance Company Ltd is a business licensed to write the Non-Life classes of accident, sickness and miscellaneous financial loss.
Its sister company, Lighthouse Life Assurance Company Ltd is licensed to write the Life classes of life & annuity and permanent health.
Operating under European (EU) legislation concerning the regulation of insurance companies and provision of insurance within the EU, both entities are based in Gibraltar and insure risks in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. In Spain, a branch for each company has been established also in accordance with EU legislation.
