Its sister company, Lighthouse Life Assurance Company Ltd is licensed to write the Life classes of life & annuity and permanent health.
Operating under European (EU) legislation concerning the regulation of insurance companies and provision of insurance within the EU, both entities are based in Gibraltar and insure risks in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Switzerland. In Spain and Switzerland, a branch for each company has been established also in accordance with EU and local legislation.
